Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd (KBR) was engaged by the lead participant in a Korean consortium to undertake technical and commercial due diligence on a “Clean Energy Project” in the mid-west of Western Australia. The project comprises of carbon storage, clean ammonia production and export, future green ammonia production and export and a carbon import capability.
CarbonCQ, was engaged by KBR to provide expert due diligence support for:
- Assessments of storage capacity and injectivity, including modelling and statistical methods.
- Assessments of Development planning and scheduling including well number, type and timing requirements.
- Additional focus was given to reservoir appraisal requirements and a wider regional capacity review for expansion and risk mitigation.
- Drilling and completions focused on legacy well integrity review
- Risk assessments and storage monitoring strategies.
Carbon CQ supported KBR in the other aspects of the due diligence scope and the full identification of project risks.
